Welcome to the CSULB ADN to BSN Step Up! Summer Nursing Scholarship application! Please read the following instructions carefully prior to beginning the application process.
• The application is available to current full-time students, in good standing, enrolled in the LBCC nursing (ADN) program.
• The award will be in the amount of $1,250.
• Criteria for eligibility to apply are as follows:
• Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units in the Step Up! Summer Bridge Nursing Program at CSULB for the 2021 summer session.
• Student must have a minimum 2.75 college cumulative GPA.
• Preference will be given to students who attended a LBUSD high school.
• The scholarship is for one summer session. Scholarships can be renewed for an additional two (2) summer sessions as long as the minimum eligibility requirements are maintained.
• Applicants may or may not be current Rotary Scholarship recipients.
• The data you enter in the online application, including the contents of all attachments, is subject to verification. It is your responsibility to ensure that all the information provided in the application is accurate.
• You will not be able to SAVE & RETURN to the application at a later date. Read all the questions prior to completing the application. Once you begin, you will need to complete the entire application and submit.
• After you complete & submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email.

• Personal Statement;
• Letter of Recommendation;
• Copy of current LBCC transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable);
• OPTIONAL - Letter of Recommendation.
• Deadline to submit application is OPEN until Notification from CSULB.
• Note: Scholarship awarding is contingent upon verification of enrollment to the Step Up! Summer Bridge Nursing Program at CSULB
